Masks have been made mandatory in seven Alberta hospitals.

 

According to Alberta Health Services, the mask rule has been implemented in seven Alberta hospitals. The AHS stated that masks must be worn by all staff, doctors, volunteers, and contract workers in all patient care areas such as elevators, common rooms, gift shops, and cafeterias.

Masks are not required for people not in direct contact with patients, such as break rooms.

 Royal Alexandra Hospital (started on October 13).
 University of Alberta Hospital and Stollery Children's Hospital
 Misericordia Community Hospital
 Gray Nuns Community Hospital Alberta Hospital Edmonton
 Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Red Deer Regional Hospital Center
