Ladakh is preparing for President Draupadi Murmu's two-day visit.

 

Ladakh is gearing up for President Draupadi Murmu's two-day visit from October 31 to November 1. In addition, preparations are being made to highlight the newly constituted union territory of Ladakh's cultural and heritage treasures. The President will attend the 4th Foundation Day of the Ladakh Union Territory at Murmu Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra when he arrives in Leh on the 31st. She will visit the Siachen Glacier in Ladakh's Nubra Valley as the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces and meet with soldiers and commanders stationed at various Siachen Glacier installations. Cultural performances will be presented to reflect Ladakh's cultural diversity at the Sindhu Ghat near Shey village, where President Draupadi Murmu will also attend a civic reception organized by the Union Territory of Ladakh.

Tribal people from various regions of Ladakh will assemble in Leh to display tribal culture, traditions, and customs through textiles.
