The rescue effort for the workers trapped in Uttarkashi's Silkyara Tunnel is nearing completion.

The rescue mission to extract 41 workers trapped in the collapsed Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, is nearing completion. The trapped workers are likely to emerge after rescuers drill a conduit into the Silkyara tunnel, which is over 45 meters deep. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also arrived in Uttarkashi to assess the rescue efforts. The Community Health Center in Chinyalizur has finished all arrangements for checking the workers' health status.
