BEIRUT: Thousands are ready to join Hezbollah in the fight against Israel if the simmering tensions in the region escalate to war. The Associated Press reported that people from organizations such as the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq, the Fatimiun in Afghanistan, the Zainabiun in Pakistan, and the Houthis in Yemen will join Hezbollah's fight.
Currently, people from Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan have been fighting for President Bashar al-Assad in Syria for the past 13 years with the support of Iran. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrullah said that the organization's leaders from countries like Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen said that they would send thousands of fighters to participate in the war against Israel. Hezbollah has more than 100,000 fighters on the battlefield. He hints that more troops will join as the war reaches full scale.
