Attempted abduction of woman in Vaughan Mills: Search for gang of four

 

A gang of four tried to kidnap the woman in the parking lot at Vaughn Mills. The incident took place on Friday around 12 noon. York Regional Police said they believe the group came with a planned kidnapping. Eyewitnesses who were at the scene recorded the video footage of the incident. In the footage, four men wearing black hoodies can be seen arguing near the vehicle and then trying to grab the woman from the vehicle and drag her away.

The police said that the woman escaped from them and suffered only minor injuries. Police said they believe the kidnapping was planned by a gang of four targeting the woman. The four accused were traveling in a blue Honda Civic with number plate AXJN850. Police said the vehicle was found stolen on August 21. Based on the video footage, the police have intensified their investigation.
