A nursing student was brutally tortured in Maharashtra

 

Mumbai: A nursing student was brutally raped in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri. The student was molested by an autorickshaw driver on her way home from the hospital. The incident took place four days ago. The girl gave a statement to the police that while she was returning from the hospital after finishing her work, the auto driver molested her by mixing intoxicant in cold drink.

Due to physical discomfort, the woman sought treatment at the hospital and later informed the police. After the girl recovered, the police inquired about the matter. Inspections are being conducted on the autorickshaw based on the CCTV footage.

After searching the area, the auto driver has not been found yet. It is also alleged that the police are not properly involved in the incident. The protest is also getting stronger. At the same time, the police say that they have received some information about the accused and will arrest him soon.
