Five infant deaths: Fisher-Price infant swings recalled by Health Canada

Health Canada recalls Fisher-Price Infant Swing toy that killed five babies in Canada Health Canada has warned children to stop using the Fisher-Price Snooga swings immediately because of the risk of suffocation caused by this toy.

Health Canada said Fisher-Price infant swings may increase the risk of suffocation due to the headrest and body support insert in the seat pad if used for sleeping or adding a sleeping device. Health Canada also recommends removing the headrest and body support insert from the seat pad if the toy continues to be used. Health Canada said 99,000 Fisher-Price infant swings were sold across the country from 2012 to 2022.
