Strange behavior towards children; Suspicious interaction: Search continues for suspect

Calgary police have stepped up their search for a man accused of behaving strangely and resorting to violence toward teenage children in a northeast Calgary community. At 11.30am on Thursday 18th July, the children were approached by an unknown suspect while they were walking home in Taradale.

The police said that the accused, who gave his hand to the children as a way to shake hands, grabbed their hands and pulled them. The accused ran away when the children raised a ruckus. The police, who came to know the information, conducted an investigation but could not find it. The suspect is described as a 25-year-old man with black hair and a black beard, and anyone with information about him is asked to call police at 403-266-1234. The police have also released the sketch of the suspect.
