Honda has recalled more than 7 lakh vehicles because the fuel pump burst due to high pressure and there is a risk of fuel leakage and fire. This is the second time in the month of October that Honda vehicles have been recalled due to a defect. The 2023-24 model year Accord and Accord Hybrid, Civic, Civic Hybrid 2025 and CR-V Hybrid 2023-2025 models are being recalled. In early October, Honda recalled 1.7 lakh vehicles after it was found to have steering problems.
From February 2023 to September 2024, Honda reported no deaths or injuries related to the fuel leak issue. The company also stated that the dealers will check the faulty fuel pump and replace it free of charge. For more information contact the company at 1-888-234-2138.
