Los Angeles (USA): Hollywood actor Ron Ely (86), who played the main character of Tarzan in the TV series 'Tarzan', which created fans all over the world, passed away. His daughter, Kirsten Casale, announced the death on social media. Tarzan is a series released in 1966. Ron Ely became famous with the films 'South Pacific', 'The Fiend Who Walked the West' and 'The Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker'.

He rose to fame in 1966 when he played the role of Tarzan in the NBC series. He was injured several times while shooting adventure scenes. He also acted in 1960-61's 'The Aquanauts', 1966's adventure film 'The Night of the Grizzly' and 1978's Jurgen Gosler's 'Slavers'.
