Millions of people still struggle to access primary care in Canada despite increased surgical facilities, according to a new report from the Canadian Institutes of Health Information. 83 percent of the country's adults have regular access to primary health care facilities. But the report also says that there are about 5.4 million senior citizens in the country who do not get these facilities.

Ontario has the largest number of primary care facilities. Least of all in Nunavut. Treatments including surgery were delayed during covid. But such problems have been resolved and the treatment facilities including surgery are similar to the pre-Covid/ new report.
