President-elect Donald Trump has said that the United States will end Daylight Saving Time (DST), which is adopted by foreign countries to make the most of sunlight. Trump claims that DST affects sleep and can cause health problems.

According to Daylight Saving Time, the clocks will be moved forward one hour from the second Sunday in March. This will provide more daylight hours. This time adjustment, which will continue until the first Sunday in November, will allow people to work longer hours. When autumn arrives, the clocks will also be moved back one hour. Daylight Saving Time was first adopted in 1942 as part of a wartime measure. This has been criticized by people working in the health sector. Their stance is that standard time should be implemented. In addition, many countries do not currently implement Daylight Saving Time. Meanwhile, President-elect Donald Trump has also come forward stating that Daylight Saving Time (DST) will be discontinued in the United States.
