Canada recalls two brands of sea salt and Himalayan salt

 

 

Two brands of sea salt and Himalayan salt have been recalled after plastic particles were found in the products. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said the recalled products should not be used, sold or distributed.

The two products recalled are President's Choice Mediterranean Sea Salt and Himalayan Pink Rock Salt. Both recalled products had a use-by date of January 17, 2026. No health problems or other illnesses have been reported with the recalled products. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has not released details of the plastic particles found in the products.
