The days are now longer across North America. Some areas have more than an hour of daylight at the end of the day throughout February. So Daylight Saving Time in 2025 will begin on March 9. From that day on, clocks will move forward one hour. But it will end on November 2, when clocks will move back one hour in the winter. Hawaii, Arizona, and New Mexico, with the exception of the Navajo Nation, are the only states that do not have a biennial time shift and remain on standard time year-round.

Meanwhile, many states have proposed laws to end the practice of changing clocks twice a year, but the final law has not yet come into effect.

Daylight Saving Time ends on November 2, 2025. It will last for about nine months. At this time, clocks will go back one hour. The entire country will be back on standard time.
