Police stopped the performance of famous British singer Ed Sheeran, who came to sing as a surprise on Church Street in Bengaluru on Sunday. The Bengaluru Police had asked him to disconnect the mic and leave the venue without anyone noticing. The Bengaluru Police had interrupted Ed Sheeran's song saying that he had not taken permission beforehand.
While Ed Sheeran was singing his famous 'Shape of You', the policeman came and asked him to stop the song. He tried to say that he was Ed Sheeran, but the policeman did not listen. As soon as he arrived, he was asked to disconnect the mic and leave the venue. Ed Sheeran and his group then finished the song and left. The footage of the incident is being circulated on social media.
Meanwhile, Sheeran wrote on Instagram that he had not violated any law and had permission to hold the event at the venue. Ed Sheeran's Indian tour, which began in Pune on January 30, is taking place in six cities. Ed Sheeran is a singer who has won several awards, including Grammy Awards.
