Ready to resume war at any moment: Netanyahu says goal will be achieved through talks or other means

 

 

Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he is ready to resume war in Gaza at any moment. Media outlets including the Times of Israel reported that Netanyahu said at a military ceremony that the goal of the war will be achieved through talks or other means. The remarks came amid a major dispute over the hostage swap.

Netanyahu made it clear in his speech that the goal of complete victory would be achieved. All hostages will be returned to their homes. Netanyahu said that Hamas will not rule Gaza. Netanyahu said that Hamas is an evil people who have killed even small children and that they will be defeated.

"Victory, victory, only victory. Victory can be achieved through talks. It can also be achieved through other means," Netanyahu said. Netanyahu thanked Trump for providing critical weapons to Israel. Netanyahu explained that new defenses and new weapons will greatly help achieve complete victory.

Israel has postponed the release of 602 Palestinian prisoners. The move is being made to demand guarantees about the Israeli hostages who will be released in the next phase. Israel suspects that some of the remaining hostages have been killed. The fact that the hostages were displayed and made to speak in public in the last hostage exchange angered Israel. Meanwhile, Hamas responded that Israel is violating the prisoner release agreement.
