''Canada is not a real country''; Elon Musk responds to citizenship revocation petition

 

 

A petition signed by 1.5 lakh people has been submitted to the Canadian Parliament demanding the revocation of billionaire Elon Musk's Canadian citizenship. The Canadian people have come out with the demand to revoke Musk's citizenship, citing his relationship with US President Donald Trump, who has continuously insulted Canada and threatened to make the country the 51st state of the United States. However, Elon Musk has also come out with a response to the petition.

While raising the demand to revoke his citizenship, Musk has made the remark that Canada is not a real country. Musk deleted the post after it sparked controversy. However, Canadians are also responding by taking screenshots of the post and criticizing it.

The petition was filed by British Columbia writer Qualia Reed. Although Musk was born in South Africa, he obtained Canadian citizenship through his mother.
