Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dil To Pagal' to hit the screens again

 

 

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster 'Dil To Pagal' is back on the big screen. In line with the new re-release trend in Bollywood, Dil To Pagal, starring Shah Rukh, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor in the lead roles, will hit the screens again on February 28, Yash Raj Films announced on Monday.

Directed by Yash Chopra, 'Dil To Pagal' was first released in 1997. Akshay Kumar played a special role in the film. The film won three National Awards for Best Feature Film, Best Supporting Actress (Karisma Kapoor) and Best Choreography (Shaimak Davar). The film told a triangular love story.

Recently, romantic films have been re-released in Bollywood and have achieved great success. Sanam Teri Kasam is a 2016 film directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. The film tells a heartwarming love story. Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mavra Hocane in the lead roles, Sanam Teri Kasam was a hit when it was released, but it was declared a flop after collecting just Rs 9 crore at the box office.

However, the film was released on Valentine's Day in 2025 and became a huge success at the Bollywood box office. It is said that Shah Rukh's film will follow the same pattern.
