Canada's Express Entry Immigration Program is changing. IRCC has announced new Express Entry categories for this year. Immigration Minister Mark Miller said that Canada's Express Entry system is changing to meet the changing needs of the country. The minister also stated that it will create a more dynamic workforce by including workers and professionals from in-demand sectors.
The following categories have been included in the Express Entry immigration program this time. IRCC also announced that invitation rounds will be held for this.

Family doctors
Nurse practitioners
Dentists
Pharmacists
Psychologists
Chiropractors
3. Trades
Carpenters
Plumbers
Contractors
4. Education
Teachers
Child care teachers
Disability instructors
The IRCC added that this year it will prioritize permanent residence applications from candidates who are working in Canada. The immigration department has also stated that it will focus on selecting immigrants with expertise in priority sectors such as health care, construction and education, as part of changes to achieve sustainable growth and economic prosperity.
