Although our world has moved into a modern era surrounded by high-tech gadgets and self-driving cars, there are still a group of people in many parts of the world who follow horrific practices such as eating human flesh. These people, who are described as the most dangerous people in the world, are said to be members of the Asmat tribe. They live in the southern Papua province of Indonesia.

These cannibals are said to follow this lifestyle to satisfy the spirits of their ancestors. The Asmat tribes were first discovered by Europeans in 1623 AD. Unlike other tribes, they practice cannibalism and use the skulls of their enemies as ornaments. Human skulls are part of their traditional clothing.

Interestingly, eating human flesh is a religious ritual for the Asmat tribe, more than a source of food. According to belief, eating human flesh is important to appease the spirits of ancestors. In addition to wearing skulls as jewelry, these tribesmen also use the hollowed-out skulls of their enemies to cook food.
